Motor Museum of Western Australia named finalist in the 2026 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards
The Motor Museum of Western Australia is proud to have been named a finalist in the 2026 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards for Business Excellence.
This is the first time the Motor Museum has entered the prestigious awards program, making the finalist recognition a particularly meaningful milestone. It follows a standout 2025/26, with the Motor Museum continuing to share Western Australia’s rich motoring history with visitors from across the State and beyond.
The recognition also comes off the back of the Motor Museum of Western Australia winning the Tourism Excellence award at the Swan Chamber of Commerce–City of Swan Business Awards in July of this year, another welcome acknowledgement of the Motor Museum’s contribution to the local visitor economy and tourism industry.
Located in Whiteman Park, the Motor Museum offers visitors the opportunity to explore a remarkable collection of historic vehicles and discover the people, places and stories that have shaped motoring in Western Australia. From early automobiles and motorcycles to much-loved family cars and unique examples of automotive design, the Motor Museum connects generations through a shared appreciation of motoring history.
Being named a finalist is an exciting acknowledgement of the Motor Museum’s work over the last three decades and particularly the achievements of the last 12 months. It is a real testament to the ongoing dedication of its 80+ volunteers, staff, supporters and community partners.
The finalists and medallists in each category will be announced at the 2026 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards Gala Dinner, to be held at Crown Perth on Thursday 26 November 2026.
