The Motor Museum of Western Australia

Preserving Western Australia’s motoring history for future generations – and keeping it firmly in people’s consciousness – is what motivates Danny Ganon, Manager of The Motor Museum of Western Australia, to show up to work every day. That, and working closely with the dedicated team of volunteers who help run the museum, Danny values the connections formed with people who generously give their time in service of community and a shared passion.

Located in Whiteman Park, the museum has been a time capsule of automotive beauty and nostalgia for more than 30 years. Visitors can journey from a 1917 Ford Model T Ambulance to the elegance of the two-tone green Byfield Jaguar Special, right through to the future-focused 2022 RAC “Intellibus” and Daniel Ricciardo’s show stopping, Red Bull Formula 1 racing car.

With 4,000 square metres of exhibition space, there’s something for all visitors and motoring enthusiasts. Beyond full-sized vehicles, the museum also features motorcycles of all kinds and display cabinets lined with 18,000 diecast model cars and a gift shop.

The Motor Museum of Western Australia, 233a Drumpellier Drive, Whiteman, is a worthwhile visit any time of the year.
