See what we have been up with our December 2025 edition of the Museum Musings.

It’s been a big couple of months here at the Motor Museum of Western Australia with volunteer led activities, car shows, celebrations, new vehicles on display, restoration projects and much more!
To view the latest December edition in full of the Motor Museum of Western Australia’s “Museum Musings”, please visit our dedicated page, which includes back editions for your reading pleasure. Below are a couple of excerpts from the December 2025 newsletter.
Remembrance Day – November 11

A special acknowledgment to Spike Spinkins who put together a Remembrance Day tribute with his 1944 WW2 Jeep.
Spike organised a one minute silence for museum volunteers and visitors, including the Last Post and Reveille.
30th Anniversary Celebration and Christmas Function – December 6

Motor Museum of Western Australia volunteers were treated to the annual Christmas function with a small twist, as we rounded out the year celebrating 30 years of the museum at Whiteman Park.
The usual volunteer BBQ was replaced with catering, special drinks and even a visit from Santa who helped with our raffle. RAC (WA) kindly donated two vouchers for two very lucky volunteers to use at RAC Parks and Resorts!

Volunteers didn’t leave empty handed either, with a each volunteer taking home a small gift from the museum as a thank you, including a cheese board and a copy of the book “A Thirty Year History of the Motor Museum of WA 1994 – 2024” published in collaboration
between Peter Taylor and Paul Blank (pictured below).

Thank you for all who attended and who were involved in the planning and on the night!
