The EK was the first new Holden announced in the swinging 60’s. Hence the two tone colour scheme and venetian blinds. It was also the first Holden with automatic transmission, a 3-speed ‘Hydra-Matic’.   It was also first with electric windscreen wipers. It has a 2.2 litre, in-line 6 cylinder motor developing 75 BHP.
